UCS 2200 Pole Vault Landing Area

The UCS 2200 is the world’s largest landing area. The 2200 measures 22' x 33' (6.7m x 10.05m). The 2200 was selected for the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia; exceeds the size specifications of the IAAF, USATF, NCAA, and the NHSF; and measures 21' 4" (6.5m) behind the plant box.

1. The Angulax Advantage - The inner part of the front unit is constructed with a 30° angle. This design improves safety without compromising performance. Angulax allows front units to be placed directly on the back & side edges of the vault box without impeding the bend of the pole or requiring a box collar.
2. The VTX 1000 an anti-shift device - All UCS Pole Vault Pits come complete with an 8" velcro tape system. The velcro is backed with a vinyl coated material that holds all component parts in place underneath the 2" top pad. This unique system takes the stress off the top pad and the snap hooks while keeping the pit totally intact and minimizing separation.
3. The 2" Top Pad - All UCS Pole Vault Pits come complete with a 2" top pad. Top pads are fabricated out of 14 x 12 breather fabric, 2" of 23 lb. ILD urethane foam and comes complete with rust resistant snap hooks.
4. An 8' x 10' Coaches' Box is available at no additional charge.
5. Vinyl Material - Sides & bottoms of all units are manufactured of 21 oz. knife coated vinyl composed of 5 oz. 840 denier nylon with a 23 x 23 construction and 16 oz. of liquid coated urethane that is spread over one side of the nylon material. The result - a 37 oz. equivalent vinyl that has the highest tear strength in the industry.
6. Hardware - Hardware is zinc coated, rust resistant steel.
7. Handles and Zippers - UCS handles have a lifetime guarantee. Fabricated out of 3500 TC 2" nylon webbing and covered with 21 oz. vinyl knife coated material. UCS 2100 Pole Vault Landing Area

The second largest landing area manufactured by UCS, was originally designed for the 1995 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Barcelona. With the unique rounded design, the 2100 has drawn raves from athletes and coaches around the world. The 2100 exceeds all size requirements of the IAAF, USATF, NCAA and NHSF as well as having 22' 4" (6.8m) of depth behind the plant box.

1. The Angulax 3000 Design Advantage - Angulax Design allows front units to be placed directly on the back & side edges of the vault box without impeding the bend of the pole or requiring a box collar.
2. The 2" Top Pad - All UCS Pole Vault Pits come complete with a 2" top pad. Top pads are fabricated out of 14 x 12 breather fabric, 2" of 23 lb. ILD foam and comes complete with rust resistant snap hooks while keeping the pit totally intact and minimizing separation.
3. Vinyl Material - Sides & bottoms of all units are manufactured of 21 oz. knife coated vinyl composed of 5 oz. 840 denier nylon with a 23 x 23 construction and 16 oz. of liquid coated urethane that is spread over one side of the nylon material. The result - a 37 oz. equivalent vinyl that has the highest tear strength in the industry.
4. Hardware - Hardware is zinc coated, rust resistant steel.
5. Handles and Zippers - UCS handles have a lifetime guarantee. Fabricated out of 3500 TC 2" nylon webbing and covered with 21 oz. vinyl knife coated material. The handles are box stitched to the side of the double reinforced vinyl base unit, below the zipper. The result - a zipper that is guaranteed for 7 years.
6. Stitching - All seams and hems are double folded and double stitched with high tenacity 232 polyester thread with at least five stitches to the inch.
7. Spike Resistant Breather Fabric - Tops of all base units, front units and both sides of the 2" top pads are manufactured out of 14 x 12 PVC extruded 1000 denier polyester.
8. Foam Construction, a time tested design - Engineered in a lattice formation with 3 different densities of foam for a safe and comfortable landing.

1760 Options:
1. 1675 VTX 1000 anti-shift device - An 8" velcro tape system. The velcro is backed with a vinyl coated material that holds all component parts in place underneath the 2" top pad. This unique system takes the stress off the top pad and the snap hooks.
2. 8' x 10' Coaches' Box - A double thick breather fabric available in 8 colors. A NFHS recommendation.
